The Chook Leaf range of children’s leather footwear has been designed for young growing feet suitable for ages 9 months to 10 years. Chook Leaf uses bright fun colours over a range of girls and boys styles from a traditional little slip-on shoe to detailed ankle boots.
All footwear is handmade with leather uppers and inners and non-slip synthetic soles.
The Chook Leaf label was formed in 2005 by Melbourne designer and mother of two Rie Southwell. She had found it difficult to buy soft leather shoes for her children and saw an opportunity to design and sell children’s hand-made leather footwear. Her goal has been to supply a top quality product in fashion colours at a competitive price. For this summer’s range Chook Leaf are showing 12 styles from a leather sandal through to silver and gold celebration shoes.
